Japan's most expensive tea, which has been featured on many TV programs, is Japan's No. 1 hand-rubbed tea.
Iruma City won the 22nd Production Area Award (Group Award) for the 17th consecutive year at the 30th National Hand-Made Tea Competition in 2022, and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award for 1st Place at the 30th National Hand-Made Tea Competition. (Individual Award) was awarded to a member of the Iruma City Temasayama Tea Preservation Society.
We will deliver the extremely rare tea, which is distributed only 300g a year, in single-drink packs of 3g each for the 2020 and 2021 Japan No. 1 teas. The recommended brewing method developed by the owner, who is a first-year Japanese tea instructor, is detailed on the package.
